This Saturday, June 13th, the 45th annual Macmillan Charity Race Day will take place at York Racecourse.
It's the biggest charity race day in the country, with 12 amateur jockeys and Ceramic Tile Merchants will be there supporting jockey Max Pimlott.
Max, 23, will be riding Scoppio Del Carro, rated 75, for trainer John Quinn. Look out for him in maroon and mauve, with Ceramic Tile Merchants breeches!
Riding is in the blood for Max as his father was a jump jockey and his brother is also an amateur jockey. Max has had quite a journey to prepare for the race, training hard to get his weight down from 14 stone 9 to 11 stone 3 in order to take part.
With just a couple of days and a couple of pounds to go before the big race, all of us at Ceramic Tile Merchants wish Max the best of luck. There's still time to donate, simply head to Max's JustGiving page.
It should be a fantastic day, and hopefully a lot of money will be raised for a very worthy cause. Let's hope we can beat last year's total of £365,000... and celebrate in the winner's enclosure!
