Working Out How Many Tiles You Require

There are 2 ways you can calculate how many tiles you will require for your project.

The first is to calculate the tiled area then add a further 10% on to allow for cuts. Whilst this is a reasonable method to use for small tiles, it's not as accurate for larger tilers.

The alternative is to check how many of your chosen tile can be fitted within the area, whether this is a wall or floor area. You should remember to count all part tiles as whole tiles.
